Winterdays at Bjärkas Gård

Skiing, skating and other outdoor activities in the beautiful surroundings in Västanfjärd. Accessible by car, no ferries. After the active day outdoors you have the possibility to relax in a traditional Finnish sauna.

Vänö Package

The outer archipelago has an incredible natural environment and undisturbed calmness. You can begin the relaxation in Kasnäs Spa in Friday afternoon, where you can enjoy different saunas, jaccuzis or different spa treatments. Then it's off to Vänö by ferry, where you will be accomodated in cottages. The island offers hikes and natural experiences, a visit to the chapel, sauna, looking at stars and giving yourself time. There is also a possibility to go fishing. The return will take place on Sunday, also by ferry. Price: from 140€/ 2 people for the cottage (there are different cottages to choose from) plus the sauna on Vänö 10€/hour + 2€/Person and the price for the Kasnäs Spa visit (eg. sauna and gym 6,50€/person/2 hours). The ferry is free of charge.

Stars, snow and winter cozyness at Pensar Syd!

At last we have snow out on the islands and skerries too. It cannot be easier to take care of yourself and your family! The ferry takes you conveniently from Granvik or Kirjais to Pensar. When you get there, there is time for being together, walks, games, good food and sauna. Together with the whole family, even grand parents.

Hotel Stallbackens winter weekend, Nagu Grännäs

Come and ski on the ice and experience the winter in the archipelago! Make your own tracks along the shores of Grannäs cape, take a bath in the traditional archipelago sauna with ”aitokiuas”-”a real sauna stove” and enjoy a good meal in a classic environment. The torches light up the winter night.
Double hotel room: 84 €/Night (Saturday morning – Sunday 3pm.)
Single hotel room: 55€/Night (Saturday morning – Sunday 3pm.)
Menu suggestion and price for a group of at least 8 people:
Lunch: Ham pie with green sallad or salmon soup with fresh bread + coffee/tea

The winter package is in effect until 31.3.2010, but not during weeks 9 and 10.

The hotel guests can hire skiing equipment from the hotel (reservations in advance). 2-4 days: 50 euros/adult, 35 euros for children under 12 years.

The cozy hotel Lanterna in Nauvo, just right for a small group

Lanterna is as if it was made for a small party of between 6 and 12 persons. Lanterna is a small hotel with a restaurant in the Nauvo village. It was finished in 2003 and the renovation was made with respect for the old building style and traditions. The cozy atmosphere, good food and appropriate meeting spaces guarantee a succesful stay. The hotel has modern meeting equipment. Book the whole hotel for your group or party with overnight stay (max. 12 persons), breakfast, meeting space, lunch and dinner. Prices starting at 65€/person/night + VAT. A suitable program is canoeing in the bays by the main island of Nauvo, where the waters are very calm even in the hard weather. Beatiful landscapes, fresh air and light exercise have an refreshing effect. The price for canoe, lifejacket, route map and sauna is 24€/person + VAT. Other program suggestions are fishing, ice fishing, Nordic walking, cycling (you can rent a bike from 15€/person/day), walking along the nature paths, or winter swimming combined with the sauna. These are the obvious activities in the calm archipelago. The speciality of the hotel is a possibility to work with clay in the pottery. We will customize a whole for your needs.

Jurmo Lillstuns package for well being

The basic package includes meals and spending the night at Lillstu: from 88€/Person/night in a single room (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner) and 68€/person/night in a double room. A guided tour on Jurmo by an authorized guide from 47 €/tour, at least one hour. The island also offers nice paths to walk on for the energetic ones. In the nature cottage there is a display about Jurmos flora and fauna and the earlier settlement on the island. Picnic basket 20€/person. Winter swimming if the weather allows. Beach sauna 15€/hour. Traditional Japanese massage from 25€/treatment (20-30 min). Qigong 10€/person/about 1 hour, but at least 40€ if there is 1-3 customers. A small group can also order a Qigong- weekend package, which involves a 2 day course. The ferry m/s Eivor has its' route via Jurmo so the packages are made regarding its' time table.

Korsnäs Östergård is a Working Farm in Nauvo

Here 1-3 persons can spend calm days by the sea, and if you wish, take part in the work at the farm. There are sheep and horses on the farm. Prices range from 80€/person/night, including breakfast, horseback riding or a guided tour to Vargberget, lunch or dinner and accommodation in a spacious 20 m2 room with a fireplace, TV, toilet and an own entry. Two showers and a sauna shared with the host family.

Special cottage vacation offer at Merirantala in the early winter

A crackling fire, mild sauna, rest and peace. A gift certificate for a weekend or more to the cozy cottages of Merirantala is probably an unforgettable christmas gift, also for the whole family! All the villas are cleaned for the winter and are accessible for cars. No queue at the ferries.
 
In the beginning of the year we have good bargains!
During 1.1-31.3. 2010 our guests who have booked a cottage for the weekend can choose one of the following offers:
1. Have you tried horseback riding? An hours riding in the idyllic countryside, maby something for the children too? The stables are located approximately 15 km from Merirantala.
2. An hour of bowling already payed for. There is also glow bowling. The place is located approximately 30 km from Merirantala.
3. In the ski tunnel there is guaranteed to be snow. The offer is valid for two adults or one adult and two children. Bring your own ski gear or rent them on site. Approximately 30 km from Merirantala.
4. Come along on night tracking. With night vision binoculars you can watch elks, guaranteed exitement. Limited amount of participants, only one group/weekend.
5. Coffee and buns in Rantola bod - shed. Max. 4 people, but not in January. The shed is also a decoration shop. Approximately 7 km from Merirantala.
The offers cannot be used before or after your stay, but have to be used during the same time as the stay at Merirantala. The offers cannot be used by a third part. The offers apply for new bookings with normal prices. The booking and sales of offers directly from Merirantala Oy. The offers only apply only for private customers and are valid depending on the booking situation. The offers cannot be exchanged for money. One offer/ rented cottage.
The cottage package must be booked from the Archipelago Booking of Finland. Buy a gift certificate or come and enjoy a cottage vacation by the nature yourself.

Winter/eastern vacation package at Hotel Kasnäs

Welcome to our archipelago spa on your winter vacation!The snow sparkles in Kasnäs, and we are all enjoying the magic winter landscapes. The nature is stunningly beautiful, snow covered trees and big snowdrifts. The ski track and sledge hill welcomes the whole family to spend time with each other and feel well. In the evening it's relaxing to take a swim and use the sauna, and also enjoy a nice dinner in the restaurant. The winter and eastern package costs 80€/pers./night, including accommodation in double room, free access to the spa and gym, lunch- or dinner buffet and breakfast. The prices are valid 19th-27th January and 1st-4th April.

Weekend in the archipelago from Nauvo to Nötö

Program: Arrival to Gyttja Västergård in Nauvo on Friday evening. After dinner there's a chance to enjoy the outdoor jaccuzi. On Saturday morning there is some time to experience Nauvo before take off to Nötö. After travelling by the winter sea, which is an experience itself, Backaro  with its' comfortable rooms awaits you. In the evening there is dinner and sauna. Sunday consists of strolls on Nötö. The return to Nauvo is about 6pm. The package is optimal for small groups of max. 10 persoms or couples which seek peace in an archipelago atmosphere.
The price of the package is 220€ in a double room, includes the overnight stays with breakfast, lunch on Sunday, dinners, outdoor jaccuzi and sauna. The offer is valid until 30.4.2010 and the booking needs to be done a week before the trip.
